The honest version. We cut on the generous side, because babies are not a standard shape and neither is a nappy.
Sizes we cut
- Cut wide through the body, so nothing pulls at the shoulders.
- Generous through the hips. A nappy is a garment too.
- Sleeves long enough to fold back, which buys you another season.
- Between two sizes, take the larger one. They only get bigger.

Why this exists
We made the things we could not find
We started this because of a 4am search for a sleepsuit with a two-way zip, in a size that existed, in a colour that was not a cartoon. It took forty minutes and we did not find one.
So the rule here is narrow. Everything is cut a little generous, because a nappy is a garment too. Everything says what it is made of and how to wash it, on the page, before you ask. Nothing is described as magical.
We make fifty of a thing, not five thousand. That means colours retire and sizes run out, and it also means we know what is in every box we send.
